Himalyan Organization for Organic Agri-Products Reserch and Development (HIMOARD) Khaneri was incorporated in April 2000, registered under SRA 1860 and H.P. amendment Act. 1973, with the participation of bare 139 farmers in the year 2000 and at present the number of participants has swollen to more than 4500. Under the enterprising headship of Dr. R. S. Minhas, the company has been scaling new height of success. He has been elected as a president of Stone Fruit Growers Association of India. Today, we stand among the key Organic Cereals, Natural Indian Spices and Medicinal Plant Manufacturers and Suppliers in India.

Research Orientation
We are a research orientated organization endowed with a team of highly experienced and qualified professionals. They are in constant pursuit of technical innovations for the progress and development of agricultural practices. We own well furnished Plant Health Clinic, Soil and leaf/ tissue analysis laboratory. Our soil and leaf analysis laboratory analyzes the soil and leaf samples to determine nutritional status and suggests an appropriate use of inputs to supplement the required nutrient.

Resources
Our company is well equipped with all the resources at place to meet the increasing demands of our products and services. We have 644 certified Organic farmers with 980 hectare of land under NPOP, NOP, and EU 2092/91 Organic Standard. Coupled with industrial expertise and technical innovation, the company has firmly grounded its feet in the area of agricultural consultancy services.

Certifications
With our strenuous efforts, we have obtained certification for 132 farms in the year 2006 from SKAL international certifications (now CUC Netherlands) covering a range of 9 products in the group of Temperate and Sub Tropical Fruits. During the subsequent years, we got certification for 644 farms from USOCA covering a range of 47 products including Fruits, Cereals, Pulses, Vegetables and Medicinal Plants grown in an area of 981 Ha, qualifying standards for NPOP (India), EU 2092/91 (European Commission) and NOP (USA). By entering an arena of certification group, we got an opportunity to participate in India Organic Fare 2005 onwards at venues like Bangalore and New Delhi.
